Welcome to the SoloTRVLR community — a home for travelers who believe the world is better when we explore it together. These Guidelines help everyone connect with confidence, kindness, and care. They apply to your use of the SoloTRVLR App, features like chat and Activities (meetups organized through the app), and any in-person interactions that arise from SoloTRVLR. By joining SoloTRVLR, you agree to follow these Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Use.

The SoloTRVLR Pledge

• I travel with respect: for people, places, and cultures.

• I lead with kindness: I listen, include, and help.

• I protect privacy: mine and yours.

• I meet safely: public spaces, clear plans, shared expectations.

• I show up: reliably, responsibly, and ready to make it great.

Guiding Principles

• Safety First: Protect yourself and others. Plan thoughtfully, respect boundaries, and use common sense online and offline.

• Respect & Kindness: Harassment, bullying, hate, intimidation, and threats have no place here.

• Authenticity: Be the real you. No fake personas, impersonation, or deceptive profiles.

• Inclusion: SoloTRVLR is for everyone. We welcome travelers of all races, ethnicities, national origins, genders and gender identities, sexual orientations, ages (18+), abilities, and faiths.

Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be 18 years of age or older to use SoloTRVLR or join any Activity.

• One account per person. Each account can only have one owner.

• Use your real name or a real nickname; your profile photo must be of you.

• Keep your account active. Accounts that have not logged in for 24 months may be removed for inactivity.

Privacy & Safety in Profiles and Chats

• Protect your privacy. Do not share or request personal information (e.g., phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses) in public spaces.

• Do not publicly broadcast detailed travel plans, exact lodging locations, or arrival/return times.

• Keep Activity planning inside SoloTRVLR whenever possible; be thoughtful about moving conversations to other platforms.

• SoloTRVLR will never ask for your financial account information. Be cautious with any requests for money or payment.

Not a Dating App

SoloTRVLR exists to help travelers meet companions for adventures, coffee, events, and shared journeys — not for dating. Messaging with romantic intent, sexually provocative content, or unsolicited explicit messages is prohibited and may result in permanent account removal.

Prohibited Content & Conduct

• Harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats, or demeaning language.

• Hate speech or discrimination based on identity or appearance of any kind.

• Violence, threats of violence, stalking, or any form of physical or sexual misconduct.

• Explicit, vulgar, or sexually provocative content; unsolicited explicit images or messages.

• Involvement of minors (under 18) in any capacity, including sharing images or information about them.

• Illegal activities of any kind, including the sale or distribution of drugs or weapons.

• Possession of weapons or bringing weapons to Activities.

• Fraud, scams, deceptive requests for donations or financial support.

• Unsolicited commercial promotion or marketplace activity; spam, bulk messaging, or misleading links.

• Off-purpose or mass unsolicited outreach (e.g., repeated generic “hi/hey” messages without meaningful context).

• Doxing, blackmail, and invasions of privacy.

• Platform manipulation or circumvention (bots, scraping, VPNs to evade restrictions, or ban evasion).

Activities (Meetups organized through the app)

• Activities are intended for SoloTRVLR users who are 18+. No minors may attend.

• Hosts must provide accurate details (time, location, participant limits) and update them promptly.

• Participants should review details carefully, arrive on time, and communicate changes or cancellations early.

• Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in account restrictions.

• Meet in public, well-lit places; tell a trusted contact your plans and use in-app tools to coordinate.

• Everyone is responsible for their own expenses; SoloTRVLR does not facilitate payments or refunds between users.

• Follow local laws and venue rules, including any restrictions on alcohol and controlled substances, noise, and public conduct.

• Respect cultural norms and the environment — leave places as you found them or better.

• Users participate at their own discretion and risk. SoloTRVLR is not liable for user conduct or outcomes of in-person Activities.

Consent, Photos & Media

• Ask before you photograph or record others. Do not post private messages or images of others without consent.

• Share only content you created or have permission to use. Respect intellectual property rights.

• Do not share images depicting real or realistic-appearing injury, blood, or weapons.

Safety Tips

• Trust your instincts. If something feels off, step away and report it.

• Use the app’s blocking and reporting tools if someone makes you uncomfortable.

• Keep valuables secure and travel documents backed up securely.

• Share your itinerary with a trusted person and set check-in times.

• Verify meeting locations and participants; consider meeting near staffed venues.

Reporting, Blocking & Enforcement

• If you feel unsafe or an emergency is in progress, contact local emergency services first.

• You can block a user from viewing your profile or conversation; they will no longer be able to contact you or view your profile.

• Blocking does not automatically submit a report — please report violations through the app for review.

• Misusing blocking (e.g., repeatedly blocking and unblocking to harass) may result in account restrictions.

• SoloTRVLR reviews reports, may remove violating content, issue warnings, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users depending on severity and history.

• We may investigate conduct that occurs off the Service if it involves people you met through SoloTRVLR.

• We reserve the right to investigate and/or terminate accounts without a refund of any purchases if we find misuse of the Service or behavior that SoloTRVLR deems inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of these Guidelines or our Terms of Use.

• Users may appeal enforcement actions through Support@solotrvlr.global; decisions are made at SoloTRVLR’s discretion.

Activities or venues suggested by SoloTRVLR’s AI are generated based on available data and may not always be accurate, feasible, or appropriate. Verify details independently before acting.

Community Etiquette

• Lead with kindness. Welcome newcomers and be generous with helpful information.

• Communicate clearly. Share context, expectations, and boundaries.

• Be reliable. Show up when you say you will, and communicate early if plans change.
